Clinical Background

Dr. Gabriel Dassa is one of the most credentialed orthopedic surgeons serving the Bronx community, bringing over 25 years of surgical expertise to personal injury patients at MAIC. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine / Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center, followed by a sub-specialty fellowship in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery at NYU Medical Center / Hospital for Joint Diseases under the mentorship of nationally recognized surgeons Dr. Charles Melone and Dr. Keith Raskin.

Dr. Dassa holds dual board certifications — from both the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopaedic Surgery — and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
