Dr. Fred Cohen is a nationally recognized headache medicine specialist and one of the few physicians in the United States to hold board certification in headache medicine from the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties (UCNS). His practice is specifically structured around the most complex and underserved headache presentations — including post-traumatic headache, a condition that is ubiquitous among motor vehicle accident patients and frequently underdocumented in PI medical records.
Post-traumatic headache is one of the most clinically significant yet underdiagnosed consequences of motor vehicle accidents. It affects a substantial proportion of TBI and concussion patients and, when properly documented and treated, is a significant contributor to case value.
